International Auction Sites
There are some international auction sites that are gaining in popularity. For US or english speaking visitors on the ones below that aren’t in English google has a good tool for converting languages that helps. These can be good places to buy or sell items that a lot of people aren’t aware of yet.
CQOut International Auction
CQout.com is a international based auction site and is UK number two auction site behind ebay. No matter what country you are from you can enjoy this site and optimize it for your country. It is growing and has hopes of passing ebay in numbers. It is very good for buyers and sellers and easy to use. It doesn’t charge a listing fee but it does charge a 1.5% final value fee which is really small compared to other auction sites. For sellers and buyers especially in the US this is a gem because it is relatively unknown in the US and it has a expanding reach.
oztion.com.au
Oztion.com.au is a great and simple to use interface for Australian bidders and sellers. You can find some nice stuff on here but I believe it’s mostly for Australian users. This site is free to use but they have a 3% final value fee when you’re done selling.
taobao.com is the chinese equivalent to eBay, it has a pretty big chinese user base. Google translator doesn’t do the best job on translating to English. If you speak chinese or can get a good translator this could be a great option to sell items in or to China.
