Penny Auction Sites

Like I said on the front page, if it sounds too good to be true it probably is.  I have one at on these sites but I treat it as entertainment.  Penny Auction Sites are auctions where bidders pay to bid, it sounds strange but that’s how they get such low costs for items.  The cost goes up in low increments and when the time runs out the last bidder gets the item. When someone makes a bid the timer goes up to usually 10 or 15 seconds and it starts over again and counts down, then the last bidder wins the item.  If you don’t win the bid then the money you spend on bidding you can use to buy the item at a lower cost.

Our Top Two Favorites Are

BidCactus.com

Penny Auction Sites

BidCactus is a website a lot of  usuals like to use.   They are free to sign up, they have a fair auction guarantee and they allow you to get the product you bid on at a percentage off.  This is a must feature for auction sites and many don’t have them.    If you bid on a product and you don’t win then you can buy the product at a discount and use the money you put in for bidding towards the product.   Searching around and asking penny auction users the overwhelming advice is to use BidCactus if you want to try out penny auctions.  You can get some amazing deals, I got a $40 dinner gift card for $5 (that’s not amazing but it was a fun start).  They have Big Screen Tv’s, Laptops, ipads and more but you should probably start at the lower items cuz they’re easier to pick off when your starting out.  It has a good user base and has some good deals and real bargains for the winners.  BidCactus is going to the greatest lengths to show transparency with it’s auctions and procedures.  They want to show the public that they can be a great place to bid and have fun doing it without worrying about shady and bad business practices.

Swoopo.com

is One of the oldest and favorite websites.

Penny Auction Website - Swoopo

Swoopo has been around for years now and has gained in popularity and expanded to different countries.  Swoopo is nice but it is one of the largest and being the largest makes it harder to win a product.   It get’s really packed and busy in Swoopo so your odds go down some.  BidHere has less traffic and is recommended but Swoopo is a good alternative option for sure.

Bid Rivals

Bid Rivals is another website that has been around for awhile now.    The thing I like about bid rivals is the competition seems to be less.   They deliver the product very quickly and professional, never had a problem with them.   Along with the two on top you can count on these to be trustworthy.   Some new auction websites popping up I wouldn’t jump on personally until I get to know them better.   These three websites above will give you similar results.

Penny auctions are for entertainment only, don’t think you will get rich all the time.   They are fun and you can win and get better at it, some people have a system and do well.  While others don’t do so well, so just expect to be entertained.  Don’t spend the last of your money hoping to win and you will enjoy it and hopefully win some good stuff.

I have won some auctions and the key is to be patient see how it works, bid in the last few seconds to save bids and hope the others get out.

Good Luck!!!
